About Praise Chapel Ministries
Praise Chapel started with the vision of a man who saw the need for God in a community filled with young people and with the zeal and the desire to reach the lost at any cost. Pastor Kenroy E. Salter embraced the challenge, and in 1994 he started an extension Sunday School at the Mount Salem Community Centre.
By October 6, 1996 the Sunday School outgrew the centre, and a tent had to be erected at the present address, Lot 131 Catherine Mount.

We live to glorify God through our ministries.
At Praise Chapel Apostolic Ministries (PCAM), we believe that every member of our assembly should be functioning within a ministry. Hence, we have developed a wide range of ministries, that will help to usher our members into a purpose-driven relationship with God.
In response to the call of the Mission on October 14, 1996; Pastor Kenroy Salter along with his wife and children and other brethren from the Kings Chapel United Pentecostal Church had to make this courageous decision. Knowing that this must have been an overwhelming situation, but the will of the Lord had to prevail.
The Youth Ministry formerly known as the Youth Department was established over 22 years ago, from inception we started with fire and exuberance. Over the years we have groomed and encouraged many of our youths, some who have kept the faith and are now leaders and ministers at PCAM.
When we look back on our journey as a Sunday school we can say in unison to God be the glory great things he has done. Our mantra is great Sunday school build great churches. Praise chapel Sunday school ministry continues to be one of the most vital part of the church.
This movement is also about women empowering women. The women’s group has it’s moving and shaking over the years like any other group or organization. The names of the ministry evolved over the years as our mandate grew. Some of the names were Women’s Auxiliary; Women’s Fellowship Department and now Women’s Fellowship Ministry.
In today’s society, the manhood is being challenged more and more. The world has set out to redefine what God has instructed man to be – the leader, the priest, the under-shepherd. There are some new definitions for the male species according to the world’s standards. But we will look at the Biblical dictates of what a real man should be – one who embraces responsibility, rejects passivity, leads confidently and invests in eternity.
The Praise Chapel Music Ministry has been a very vivid and essential part of Praise Chapel Apostolic Ministries over the years and has effectively played its part in fostering growth and development through our unwavering dedication to the work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Under the leadership of First Lady and Assistant Pastor, Minister Margaret Salter, the firm support of our Pastor, Reverend Kenroy Salter, the resilient committee and the cohort of anointed, talented and equally committed individuals that graced this great assembly; the music ministry consistently supported the ministry. Praise Chapel throughout these 21 years has grown and matured into not only a place of worship, but a home, one family under God.
The Usher and Hospitality Ministry started 22 years ago with the inception of the Praise Chapel. We were first called the Ushers Department, later we became the Usher and Hospitality Department. In January 2016, the name was changed to the Usher and Hospitality Ministry.
